Video evidence is very risky business for the subjects of the film. Police and the surveillance state often use visual records to prosecute and vilify protestors. Videos of protests and arrests are also confidential, court-admissible evidence and should not be shared online or even in person between friends. Video evidence should only be shared directly between the person who filmed an event and the lawyer handling the case. Antirepression never handles nor coordinates exchange of evidence.
That said, an NLG lawyer is looking for video evidence from protests on the 580 at about 10:30pm on the night of Monday, November 24th. If you filmed events at that time, please contact the lawyer and send files directly to [email protected]. The lawyer is also willing to meet in person.
